Riverstone Audio Rock and Roll 380 Series  Precision Crafted Record Weights

Rock & Roll Guitar Series - Burnt Orange

A Riverstone Audio exclusive - Rock n' Roll Guitar Series record weights. What can we say, we like electric guitars, Rock & Roll and vinyl records and couldn't settle for a boring record weight. Riverstone Audio's newest line of record weights perform as well as they look. Definitely not your average record weight. The R&R 380 Series record weights are machines from a solid billet of a premium aerospace-grade aluminum alloy (7075-T6) and anodized for surface protection and color. The top surface of the weight has a finely detailed laser engraving of a classic 6-string electric guitar. These weights look great on and off a turntable. The attention to detail does not stop with the engineering design of the weight or the laser engraving. To protect your LP record labels and provide additional damping, a 1 mm thick EVA pad is affixed to the base of the record weight. A foam-lined wooden box (pine) is also included to protect your record weight when not in use. Specifications: Mass 380 g, Dimensions: 34.5 mm height, maximum diameter (at base) 80.0 mm, Spindle hole 7.25 mm diameter x 20 mm deep. Color: Burnt Orange - satin finish. Laser engraving: classic 6-string electric guitar.

  • ROCK n' ROLL RECORD WEIGHTS - Classic GUITAR SERIES - Music isn't boring so why should a record weight be. For those of you into guitars and Rock & Roll this weight is for you. These weights have it all, superb craftsmanship, good looks and, above all, the ability to enhance sound quality. The top surface of the Guitar Series weights have a finely detailed laser engraving of a classic 6-string electric guitar.
  • BETTER SOUND - Improves contact between a record and platter to reduce the transfer of unwanted vibrations to a stylus. The reduction of extraneous vibrations reduces distortion - provides better detail, tighter bass and overall improvement of sound quality. Also helpful to temporarily improve flatness of LP's; a warped or bowed record changes the contact angle between the stylus tip and record groove - leading to audio distortion and additional lateral loading of a stylus.

  • LESS STRESS ON MOTORS - The medium mass (380 g) of the R&R 380 makes it well suited for use on most turntables, including vintage turntables. The medium mass requires a lower starting torque and the low profile/precision machining reduce wobble which lowers axial and radial loading of motor/spindle bearings during record playback.

  • LOOKS GREAT ON ANY TURNTABLE – The R&R 380 record weights not only improve sound quality, they are a work of art, and ergonomically designed for easy gripping. The exquisite surface finish was obtained by a process that involves multi-step glass beading, hand polishing and anodizing for surface protection and color. Looks great on and off a turntable.

  • LOW PROFILE - Fits under most dust covers; however, best to measure before ordering (requires approx. 36 mm from record surface to underside of dust cover). foam-lined wooden box is included to protect the record weight when not in use. Spec's: Mass 380g, 34.5 mm height, max. diameter (at base) 80 mm, spindle hole 7.25 mm dia. x 20 mm deep. Laser engraving: 6-string electric guitar. Color: Burnt Orange - satin finish.
